Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Kimche, Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m / 6,365ft)

Overnight: Teahouse in Ghandruk

Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 minutes), then drive to Kimche. Begin your short trek to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. Enjoy traditional architecture, mountain culture, and views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare.

Day 2: Trek to Sinuwa (2,340m / 7,675ft)

Trek Time: 5-6 hours

Overnight: Teahouse

Trek through lush forests, terraced farmland, and small mountain villages. Enjoy scenic views of surrounding hills and traditional homes as you make your way to Sinuwa.

Day 3: Trek to Deurali (3,174m / 10,410ft)

Trek Time: 6-7 hours

Overnight: Teahouse

Ascend gradually through dense forest and along rocky trails to Deurali. The altitude begins to increase noticeably, offering a true high-altitude trekking experience and views of snow-capped peaks.

Day 4: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,546ft) via Machapuchare Base Camp

Day 5: Trek to Bamboo (2,350m / 7,708ft)

Descend through the route you came up on, taking in the rich forest scenery and passing through charming rest stops. Reach the peaceful village of Bamboo for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Trek to Jhinu Danda Hot Springs (1,780m / 5,838ft)

Make your way to Jhinu Danda, a small village known for its relaxing natural hot springs near the Modi Khola river. Unwind and soothe your muscles after the trek.

Day 7: Trek to Siwai or Phedi (822m / 2,696ft), Drive Back to Pokhara

Wrap up your trek with a short descent to Siwai or Phedi, where your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to Pokhara. Spend the evening relaxing by the lakeside.
