Mahare Danda Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,592ft)

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Our team will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. You can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or rest after your flight.

Day 2: Drive/Fly to Pokhara (822m / 2,696ft)

Flight Time: 25 minutes

Drive Time: 6–7 hours

Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara

We either take a short flight or a scenic road trip to Pokhara. Spend the evening enjoying Phewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda, and Lakeside cafes.

Day 3: Drive to Galeshwor & Trek to Bans Kharka (1,525m / 5,003ft)

Overnight: Teahouse in Bans Kharka

A scenic drive brings us to Galeshwor, the trek’s starting point. We cross the Kali Gandaki River and hike through forests, farmlands, and small villages before reaching Bans Kharka.

Day 4: Trek from Bans Kharka to Nangi Village (2,260m / 7,415ft)

Trek Time: 5–6 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Nangi Village

Trek through lush rhododendron forests and traditional Magar villages. We’ll reach Nangi Village, known for its eco-lodges, organic farming, and local schools.

Day 5: Trek from Nangi Village to Mohare Danda/Phulbari (3,300m / 10,827ft)

Trek Time: 6–7 hours

Overnight: Teahouse at Mohare Danda

Ascend to the summit of Mohare Danda, a beautiful vantage point with panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Expect unforgettable sunrise and sunset vistas.

Day 6: Trek from Mohare Danda to Tikot Village (2,210m / 7,250ft)

Trek Time: 5–6 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Tikot Village

Descend through forests and terraced fields to Tikot Village, a charming Magar settlement where we’ll experience authentic local culture and warm hospitality.

Day 7: Trek to Tiplyang & Drive to Pokhara

Trek Time: 3 hours

Drive Time: 4–5 hours

Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara

We descend to Tiplyang and drive back to Pokhara. The evening is free for lakeside relaxation or exploring the local eateries and shops.

Day 8: Drive/Fly Back to Kathmandu

Flight Time: 25 minutes

Drive Time: 6–7 hours

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

Take a short flight or scenic drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner featuring live cultural performances.

Day 9: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer: Tribhuvan International Airport

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your international flight home. We hope you had a memorable trek and look forward to welcoming you again!
