Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Sundarijal & Trek to Chisopani (2,150m / 7,054ft)

Drive Duration: 1 hour | Trek Duration: 4–5 hours

Begin the trek with a short scenic drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. Enter Shivapuri National Park and trek through dense forests, waterfalls, and traditional Tamang villages. Reach Chisopani by afternoon for stunning mountain views and a peaceful village atmosphere.

Day 2: Trek from Chisopani to Nagarkot (2,175m / 7,136ft)

Trek Duration: 6–7 hours

Enjoy sunrise views of the Langtang range before starting your trek. The trail continues along scenic ridgelines, pine forests, and rural settlements with panoramic views of the Himalayas. Arrive in Nagarkot, famous for its breathtaking sunsets and Himalayan vistas.

Day 3: Trek to Changunarayan & Drive Back to Kathmandu

After sunrise and breakfast in Nagarkot, trek downhill through small villages and forest trails to the UNESCO-listed Changunarayan Temple. Explore the historic site before driving back to Kathmandu, marking the end of your short yet rewarding trek.
