Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,428ft)

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal's vibrant capital. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax. In the evening, enjoy a trek briefing to prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Trip Preparation (1,350m / 4,428ft)

This day is reserved for final trip preparations in Kathmandu. We’ll visit the necessary offices to organize permits and gear for the trek. You’ll also have time to explore the city’s historic landmarks and immerse yourself in its rich culture.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla (2,860m / 9,383ft) & Trek to Phakding (2,652m / 8,698ft)

Flight Time: 35 minutes | Trek Duration: 3–4 hours

Take a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest. Your trek begins as you descend through Chaurikharka Village, following the Dudh Koshi River to the charming village of Phakding.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286ft)

Trek Duration: 6–7 hours

Trek through lush forests, cross suspension bridges including the Hillary Bridge, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Arrive at Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa town perfect for acclimatization.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

This day is for acclimatization. Take a short hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and more. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum or explore the local market.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3,870m / 12,697ft)

Trek Duration: 6 hours

Walk through rhododendron forests with breathtaking views of Everest and Ama Dablam. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, a spiritual hub with panoramic Himalayan views.

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4,400m / 14,435ft)

Trek Duration: 5–6 hours

Cross the Imja Khola and pass through Pangboche. Arrive in Dingboche, also known as the Summer Valley of Everest.

Day 8: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, and other surrounding peaks. Alternatively, relax and prepare for the higher elevations ahead.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m / 16,109ft)

Trek Duration: 5–6 hours

Climb past the Thukla Pass memorials dedicated to fallen climbers. Continue to Lobuche, a high-altitude settlement with spectacular glacier views.

Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep (5,164m / 16,942ft) & Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598ft)

Trek Duration: 7–8 hours

Follow the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep, then hike to Everest Base Camp. Celebrate your achievement before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 11: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m / 18,192ft) & Trek to Lobuche (4,930m / 16,174ft)

Trek Duration: 6–7 hours

Begin early with a rewarding ascent to Kala Patthar for sunrise views of Everest, Pumori, and surrounding Himalayan giants. After taking in the panoramic vistas, descend to Gorak Shep and continue your trek back to Lobuche.

Day 12: Trek to Lobuche High Camp (5,400m / 17,712ft)

Trek Duration: 3–4 hours

Today, trek uphill to Lobuche High Camp along a rocky trail, gradually gaining altitude. The route offers dramatic views of glaciers and high alpine terrain, with time in the afternoon to rest and prepare for the summit push.

Day 13: Summit Lobuche Peak (6,119m / 20,075ft) & Descend to Dzongla (4,830m / 15,846ft)

Trek Duration: 8–10 hours

Summit day! Start early in the morning with a steady climb to the summit of Lobuche East. From the top, enjoy breathtaking 360° views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the Khumbu Valley. After celebrating your success, descend safely back down to Dzongla.

Day 14: Contingency Day for Weather or Delays

This extra day is reserved as a buffer in case of poor weather or unexpected delays during the climb. It ensures flexibility and safety for the summit schedule.

Day 15: Trek to Pangboche (3,985m / 13,074ft)

Trek Duration: 5–6 hours

Descend through alpine terrain and Sherpa settlements as you make your way to Pangboche. Visit the historic Pangboche Monastery and enjoy views of Ama Dablam along the way.

Day 16: Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,283ft)

Trek Duration: 4–5 hours

Continue descending to Namche Bazaar, enjoying the natural beauty and welcoming atmosphere. Relax and reflect on your incredible trekking and climbing adventure.

Day 17: Trek to Lukla

Trek Duration: 6–7 hours

Finish your trek by returning to Lukla. Reflect on your journey and celebrate your final night in the Himalayas.

Day 18: Flight to Kathmandu

Flight Time: 35 minutes

Fly back to Kathmandu. You can relax or enjoy optional sightseeing at iconic sites like Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, or Pashupatinath Temple.

Day 19: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home. Your Everest Base Camp journey ends, but the memories will last a lifetime.
